Dominican Republic
Do you know what is definitely worth visiting in the Dominican Republic?
We will be happy to advise you or arrange a leisure activity according to your wishes
Playa grande
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Several kilometres long and wide, the beach with golden brown sand and turquoise water is densely lined with palm trees. The rocky cliffs running up the sides of the beach into the ocean add to its uniqueness. Playa Grande is also one of the best places to enjoy fresh fish grilled to order on the beach.
Waterfall el Limón
The 52 m high El Limón waterfall, located on the Samaná peninsula, is definitely worth a visit. In the immediate vicinity is a larger lake with pleasantly cool water where you can take a dip and cool off on hot days. The waterfall is surrounded by tropical vegetation and can be reached on foot or on horseback. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours and you will also come across
a refreshment stand along the way.
Peninsula Samaná
It is a unique place, where there is an area of mountains with waterfalls, a unique national park on the sea with cave paintings of the Taino Indians and especially beautiful untouched beaches that can only be reached by boat. Samaná is thus a famous place from where it is possible to take boat trips to see the humpback whales. This is from January to April, when up to thousands of whales arrive from the Greenland area to mate.
Playa Preciosa
Right next to Playa Grande is its hidden sister beach, Playa Preciosa, which is a beautiful romantic deserted beach without sunbeds, shops and restaurants. So if you prefer a quiet place to relax or take
a leisurely stroll, this beach is the perfect choice.

It is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, which is bordered by a beautiful beach. This city hides a great deal of cultural and natural wealth. The local centre is definitely worth a visit, or a trip on the cable car that takes you up the Loma Isabel de Torres mountain, where you can visit the traditional souvenir shops or enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants.
